What is Reiki?
According to The International Center for Reiki Training (www.Reiki.org), Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy.
I received my Usui/Tibetan Reiki Master-Teacher training from Tom
and Barbara Maryanski.
Reiki uses natural healing energy and is a safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement. It also works in conjunction with other medical or therapeutic techniques, and works equally well on people and animals. It can be administered in person or from a distance.
I have used Reiki for years in addition to my animal communication service, and have seen and heard about remarkable results from pet owners as well as friends. One friend in particular recovered from serious hand surgery more quickly and more completely than a person in regular health, even though he had been a Type I diabetic for over 30 years. His surgeon was astonished by the speed and level of healing achieved.
Currently I offer distance Reiki only. Cost for a 15 minute session is $25, a 30 minute session is $50. To schedule a treatment, please contact me at 215-469-4029 or MountainStar57@gmail.com
